The Gold Coast Dance Festival hosts an evening of dance on our North Shore. Bring a blanket or chair and be swept away by some of the industry’s top talents. GCDF features Dance Magazine’s Top 25 to Watch, celebrates dance and its cultural roots, and provides a doorway for youth to connect to dance like no other. FREE EVENT. First Saturday in August annually. 6pm.
The Gold Coast Dance Festival is Long Island’s premier outdoor dance celebration, held each summer at Morgan Memorial Park in Glen Cove. Presented by New York Dance Theatre, the festival features an exciting lineup of world-class professional dancers, emerging artists, and diverse performances spanning ballet, contemporary, Broadway, and cultural dance. Free and open to the public, the festival brings the community together for an inspiring evening celebrating the artistry, diversity, and joy of dance.
